I’ve been in Tahoe since ’95 and in the early years held jobs like PR Director for Squaw Valley, ski event Media Guy at the Winter X Games, driveway sealer, freelancer writer / photographer, and sandcastle watcher. That first winter was a classic ski town start – living with 6 high school buddies and getting rent down to $168/month. Now I’m a full-blown family man – my wife and I have a 4.5 year old boy named Grant (a.k.a. Muzzy) and a baby girl (Gigi, born March 2012).

I’ve been a full-time realtor since ’04 and have been with the same company the whole time – Tahoe Real Estate Group. I was the 2011 Top Producer and am always in the Top 3. I enjoy the job more every year and have found great success by blending new technology with Old School techniques. You can see my regular intro on the site here.

In my years here I have gotten to know The Big Blue Lake very well, both personally and professionally. I’ve been paid to record the winter lifestyle here with written columns and blogs for companies like Squaw Valley Ski Corp and publications like SKI Magazine, ESPN’s MountainZone, Tahoe World newspaper and The Tahoe Weekly. I’ve written articles for Powder Mag, Tahoe Quarterly, Squaw Valley Times, etc. I love Tahoe and know much about the big (and especially those random, little) things which make being here so much fun.

As for real estate I saw the peak of the market, worked through the crash, and cut my teeth in the resulting mayhem. I am now enjoying the slow, steady increase in market activity. I know the neighborhoods very well and can help anyone navigate their idiosyncrasies. I have represented buyers and sellers in transactions as complicated as seller-financing with just one realtor (me) involved, inter-family dissolutions, and the industry’s best misnomer: short sales. I also help people with 1031 Exchanges, REO purchases and probate sales. In short, I can handle anything in Tahoe residential real estate sales.
